Application
The model M/F-1 is designed to allow two analog
communication devices, for example:
- Fax and Modem
- Fax and Phone*
- Modem and Phone*
- Credit Card Terminal and Phone*
- Credit Card Terminal and Fax
- Credit Card Dialer and Modem
- ATM and Credit Card Terminal
- ATM and Fax
- ATM and Phone*
- ATM & Modem
to share the same central office line without
interruptions. Priority and privacy is given to the
first communication device to access the line.
No external power supply is required. The
application area is in c-stores, banks, energy
companies and ATM with State Lottery Machine
installers.
Installation
The M/F-1 Modem/Fax Controller unit connects
to a standard telephone line, the station port of a
hybrid key system or PABX. Just plug the six 6”
modular line cord into a standard telephone line
jack or extension port and connect the two
communications devices into the assigned ports.
The model M/F-1 unit is wall mounted via two (2)
#6 x 3/4” pan head self tapping screws provided.
See figure #1. Test the unit by going off hook
device #1 to complete a call and make sure
device #2 does not interfere. If sharing with Fax
set second device with higher # of rings before
answering.
